Beginners Basic Wax Building 1:1 Session

Learn how to craft your own jewellery in Naarm! I take you through each step in creating your own 925 Sterling Silver Jewellery pieces. This course is available to people who have ZERO experience! 

This is payment for 2x 2.5hr sessions where we work with Jewellers Wax in the first session, and your Silver casting (metal) in the second session. 

In the first session, you will learn about building up jewellers' wax to create rings and pendants. We will also cover cast-in-place gemstones, where you will set nano gemstones in your wax and have them cast into place. The second session entails the art of cleaning, refining, shaping and polishing your raw casting (925 Silver). All equipment is provided for each session, just bring a notebook and yourself! 

You will leave with a smile on your dial, 3 pieces of jewellery (made by you!) and the knowledge to get straight into crafting your own jewellery at home! An information sheet with links to materials and the methods we cover in the sessions will be emailed to you after the completion of the sessions. 

Please note the labour of Lost Wax Casting is not covered in these sessions - it is handled by a professional at a casting house in Naarm.
